Open to students from across campus this studio focused on filmmaking as a poetic, experimental and documentary practice engaging city, memory, identity and power. The program was hosted from 2013-2017 by Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, Washington University in St. Louis. The program received a generous grant support from the Brabson Library & Educational Foundation. The June 11 program includes a selection of short films by artists, filmmakers and students in City Stories: Digital Filmmaking program conceived and taught by Weiss. The two-hour screening is co-curated and with artistic participation of Jose Guadalupe Garza, artist and educator, Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis.

Sarah Weinman, a journalist for the St. Louis Jewish Light newspaper, has been kind enough to write a short article about my thesis work Four Sights of the Patient (Ophelia) (2018) and that of Brent Nakamoto, one of my fellow MFA 2018 graduates, La Selva Beach (2018). Please find this article here.
